July 22 1941. The girl next door is getting married. Anne Frank is leaning out of the window of her house in Amsterdam to get a good look at the bride and groom. It is the only time Anne Frank has ever been captured on film. At the time of her wedding, the bride lived on the second floor at Merwedeplein 39. The Frank family lived at number 37, also on the second floor. The Anne Frank House can offer you this film footage thanks to the cooperation of the couple.

The biography tells the story of Anne Frank's life, and ends with the return of Otto Frank -- who was the only one of the eight people in hiding in the secret annexe to survive the Holocaust -- and the publication of Anne's diary and the opening of the Anne Frank House.The biography will be published at the beginning of July in the Netherlands, and later this year in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

Her thoughts on life, her self-criticism: this was not the daughter he had known Otto was the only member of his family to survive the holocaust.
